 7th Street Kids

7th Street Kids organize a six-week summer program for kids who are 7 through 16 years by June 15 who want to experience the fun of musical theatre. The highlight is the performance of a major musical theatre work. Under the guidance of outstanding directors, each Kid participates in auditions and rehearsals, helps back stage, even constructing sets, and then sings and dances in the show.

Auditions

Auditions will be held at the theater on the 1st Saturday of June 9 AM. All who audition must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. No previous experience or preparation is necessary. Those who audition will be taught a short song and dance which they will perform for the directors. Approximately 50 Kids will be chosen for the production. Kids must be able to attend all rehearsals and performances to participate in the program.

Tuition

Tuition is $230. Scholarships are available.

Rehearsals

Rehearsals begin on Monday, June 17 and will run Mondays through Fridays from 9 AM to 1 PM until the week before performances. Rehearsals that week will take place in the evenings.

Performances

First show will be July 12, 13, & 14.

The second show will be August 1, 2, 3, & 4.
